In this first installment to the "Crimson Dawn" series, Kevin Laredo and Vic  Turner meet for the second time in their lives, only to realize a connection in their past has brought them to this point.  Meanwhile, Jonathan "Pal" Palomino has ghosts of his own to deal with, namely in the form of a vampire named 'Hampton' who wants Jonathan for a special mission, and who will stop at nothing to get his former enemy to do what he wants, including threatening to bring Vic Turner into the realm of the undead.

In Episode 2 of Myristica's "Crimson Dawn" series, the team of Eagle's Eye Investigations receives a Missing Person case, but when it's discovered the missing person may have been associated with a gay bar called 'Red Dawn', Jonathan suggests sending Vic in undercover. When Kevin vehemently disagrees, he and Vic have a falling out. Is Kevin finally coming to terms with how he feels about Vic and is that the reason he has suddenly become over protective? Things heat up between the two men, and Jonathan discovers a message from an anonymous friend who knows about Hampton and may have clues regarding how to defeat the Black Ti'gress.
